Food was fast and very reasonably priced, probably one of the best lunch sushi restaurants in North Vancouver. Bill before tip was $17.06- 8 piece of sashimi $8.50, rainbow roll $7.75 - Tobiko $.80

The value is really great with the lunch specials here! Four of us ate and were very full for around $40. Lunchtime does get very hectic in here.

Better quality sushi a couple blocks away at Pemberton

In the end The sushi seemed pretty good, but the place smells to fishy for my senses. A good sushi place should not. I was trying to order a take out in person and was interrupted a good half a dozen times. The order was ready on time and a good supply of chopsticks, tissues and wassabi was included. The containers were also a recyclable plastic, not styrofoam.

Very good place to go and have a good tasty food. The price is inexpensive. The restaurant has lots of parking.

The service is good sometimes and sometimes not so much. But hey, good prices and decent food. pretty clean. Good music and pleasant service. Not sure why only some people get their tea topped up. Kinda a drag that I had to go get a new soya sauce after leaving the empty on the side of the table for a while. Feeling a little ignored. But hey the price is right.

Ordered a standard sashimi roll besides the standard Box D to share with my son and dine in on the recent Sunday. Tuna roll came on the table looking dry and not fresh. Lady manager at the counter still have the cheek to ask me why I do not leave a tip when it has always been optional. Coming here to eat with my family for almost 7years, the standard(portion has become smaller) and service has dropped drastically since I first visited the place. Counter service at the end of the day left me in a bad taste. The same lady manager who was helping to clear the dishes behind my seat did it so loudly as if she was reluctant to do the job and not considering other patrons at nearby tables. Don’t think will come back here with my family or recommend to friends anymore about this place.

Good food good service and good value.

The sushi is fresh, amazing and super reasonable. The atmosphere certainly could improve but, the food was much better the $200 meal the night before.

Great sushi, good service, it's a local favorite. Their combo, BC Roll, Dynamite Roll, ++. With their Miso Soup, was one of favorites. Their Chirashi was great too.

My wife and I have been coming here for more than 10 years. These guys consistently make good tasting sushi. The portion sizes are great for the price. Staff is courteous and fast, they always top up our tea cups as they walk by. Good service, would recommend.

Sushi is good and price is not too bad either. Price to serving portion is quite nice too. Good for casual dinner.

Decent for lunch. Portion size pretty decent, though sushi sets don't come with miso (unlike bento boxes or other mix-and-match lunch specials).Sushi and tempura were good. Chicken terriyaki was mediocre.

The young woman who works there everyday in extremely rude! The worst customer service ever

Waiter was not a friendly server. Food was average, fairly priced for area.

My favourite Sushi place! The best sushi, love their chicken teriyaki, and the salmon and tuna sashimi is so fresh, and it is very affordable, huge portions as well. Best customer service!

Good quality good prices!

Sushi Man provided lightning quick service. From the time I sat down to the time I got my food, approximately 10 minutes or less passed. The servers were quiet but efficient. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered a teriyaki bento box which came with thinly sliced beef on white rice, drizzled with teriyaki sauce, green salad with a carrot ginger? dressing, california roll (6pc) and hot fresh veggie and shrimp tempura (3pc) accompanied with tempura dipping sauce. Hot green tea was included in the meal which was a nice touch. Awesome value at less than 11 dollars tax in. Nothing fancy here, just super affordable sushi and hot food served at lighting speed.

Decor is nothing special, but service and food is always consistently very good.

The food is good, very fresh and good portion size! Definitely one of the favourites and go to for lunch. The service is not very good though. Especially the lady with the short hair, who I presume is the owner. She came to our table 4 times to ask to take away our plate while I was clearly not done eating it.. restaurant was not even busy , barely had anyone in it so I really didn’t understand her rush to get us out of there so soon. If it was busy and people were waiting for tables I would DEFINITELY understand, because I am an understanding person like that. It seems she was having a bad day. But I never get good service from her. Other servers also remove the menu from my table before I’m even done ordering. Better to do takeout from here.

Great, fast service and good quality food

Serice was quick, attentive without being overbearing, polite and fresh. Perfect pricing, was exceptionally pleased.

Had lunch here today, came in with a co-worker, and i must say i was not impressed, not only was the food not that great, My co-worker and I are now sick to our stomachs in and out of the washroom and i have some sort hive/rash on my face and arm. I also wanted to point out that I was watching the chefs do their work and one of them thought it would be a good idea to take one of the fried shrimp and eat it right then and there, then use those same hands he just transferred food to his mouth with to continue prepping food. (NOT WASHED) That is disgusting and not at all to the food safe codes and standards. Your staff are also not very friendly. Ill never eat here again. Nor will i recommend it to anyone.

Great food & very reasonable prices. Sometimes service is a little lacking but this can easily be overlooked. Photo is of my favourite thing to order -- the Beef Box -- a little of everything!

They were closing in 30 min.I ordered take out which was ready fast.Then I decided to have something there ,they said I have to be fast.I thought the way they approached me so I can eat fast and leave was not nice.

Great value if you're looking for inexpensive sushi. The restaurant is very run down though and is in desperate need of a renovation. It can get very busy so call ahead if you're getting takeout. They do accept reservations. The staff are pleasant and the service is generally good.

Quick, cheap and dependable. Not many places you can get a $10 3-course meal! These guys make it so easy for customers.

best sushi in town, good service

It looks like a fast food rather than a sushi restaurant. Sushi was wrapped carelessly and it became unpack when someone touch them. Its taste was normal. Also, we asked 3 times for refiling green tea and another forks. The service was slow.

My go to spot for good, cheap, fast sushi on the north shore.

The quality is just horrible!! It’s a McDonald’s of sushi’s. Prices are absurd for what you get. I would definitely avoid this place at all cost. Rather try sushi town (same prices) and way better quality food. The dynamite roll have over fried shrimp and a ton of rice (gross), tofu was tasteless.. worst sushi restaurant ever

Sushi man is amazing! My favorite sushi place to go to on the north shore. Their prices are great and the portions are amazing! Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! My favorite dish is usually the sushi special menu and the oyako donburi!

They dont allow you to do food substitutions here. Staff is rude and unfriendly. Dont eat here. Go to Sushi Town or Capilano Sushi down the road.

Great prices and decent sushi quality. Wasabi is sufficiently hot, if you're not paying attention you will be coughing. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Sushi Man is hands down the best sushi restaurant on the North Shore. Great service, fantastic salmon sashimi and their box specials are very well priced. I have been going here for over five years and I have always enjoyed every experience. Considering how busy they get for dining in and take out you always get your meal fast.
